Sweet Dreams are Made of TheseLast night, for once, my sleep was neither simple blackness nor twisted nightmare.
It was a sweet dream.
Of you.
Both of you, I admit. You both were hugging me, and we were all smiling and laughing without a care. All that was wrong was suddenly right, and you told me I was forgiven, the richest words I hope to hear again.
I woke with a bittersweet smile on my face. Is it better to be plagued by foul imaginings with curved claws and evil snarls, or to relive that dream each night, where everything was warm and sweet, where everything was right?
I don't know.
I don't really care. Sometimes I wish I could sleep forever.
I usually forget
The Shadow-KittenI know of a kitten;
Her twisting tail and blue steel eyes draw me in.
Her fur is a tawny gold, yet not;
it is many colours, dappling through her, emphasising her beauty.

She walks with a smooth and easy gait, smiling, laughing
at all that the world has to offer.
Her eyes are wise; they speak of things many ages before her
and many ages to come.

Never have I met such a sweet creature;
She takes every bad situation and shines a beam of hope upon it.
Never have I met one so optimistic;
in contrast to my pessimism, it is shocking.

Yes, I know. The diamond form sucks. But I tried. I did.
And yes, the shirt came off looking a bit fake. I don't care. Some of the January-as-Emma manips I saw made me cringe.
